Install or update OpenHaldex SS

Plug your LILYGO T-2CAN ESP32-S3 N16R8 into a computer with a USB data cable. Open the official SS installer in Chrome or Edge, click Install and select the board. Leave it plugged in until it finishes. No coding needed.

Moving from S3 or an early test build? Save your maps and settings first. Your first SS install must use USB; it initializes SS storage and replaces the old application. Later SS wireless updates keep your saved data. Update while parked with the engine off, and stop any diagnostics or recording first.

If an update gets interrupted, use the USB installer again. Official release details list the current version.

The SS application is proprietary. Official firmware is free for personal, non-commercial experimental or off-road use under the software terms.

Legacy OpenHaldex-S3: the archives and version-specific installers below are retained for users who prefer the earlier MIT-licensed edition. They are not current SS releases. Check the selected edition, supported board and installation guide before flashing; installing firmware replaces the previous application.
