SS Control Panel

OpenHaldex SS v1.1

Meet your OpenHaldex dashboard

The controller makes its own Wi-Fi network. On your phone, join SignalScope-AP, then type openhaldex.local or 192.168.4.1 into your browser address bar.

That opens the dashboard: the place to choose how the rear wheels help, check car readings and save your setup. Start with the first-startup steps. Make changes and review data only while safely parked.

Start simple, explore when you are ready

  • Stock: let the factory messages pass through unchanged.
  • FWD: remove the OpenHaldex rear-drive request.
  • Fixed lock: choose one level of requested rear-wheel engagement.
  • Curves and maps: vary that request with speed, throttle or other available car readings.
  • Profiles: use your rules to change behavior automatically.

The lock value is a request to the controller, not a measurement of how much power each axle receives. You can begin with a simple mode or supplied map; the maps and profiles guide explains the next steps.

A little more under the hood

The dashboard can identify the connected Haldex unit, check supported fault codes and readings, and run its supported calibration routine. The options you see depend on your car and unit.

Version 1.1 adds configuration backup/restore and optional steering-angle reduction. The special Gen 5 0CQ 554K BPK support is experimental; testing in the vehicle is still pending.

Find details in the official feature guide and v1.1 release notes. Save a backup before making a batch of changes.
