Connect your phone and get started

Finished the build and USB installation? With the checked harness installed and the board powered, the next part happens in your phone browser. Keep the car safely parked.

1. Join the board Wi-Fi. Open your phone Wi-Fi settings and choose SignalScope-AP.
2. Open the dashboard. Type openhaldex.local into the browser address bar. If that does not open, try 192.168.4.1.
3. Pick your Haldex generation. Choose the correct generation and save.
4. Start in Stock mode. Check that car readings, such as speed and engine RPM, make sense for what the parked car is doing.
5. Follow the calibration prompts. Use the routine offered for your connected unit, then choose a simple mode or supplied map.

Save your first working setup

SS v1.1 can back up and restore your configuration. Save a backup once setup is working, and another before trying a new batch of changes. Give the file a useful name with your car and the date.

If the dashboard is missing car readings, check your generation choice and compare the harness with the official wiring guide before trying other modes. SS needs the Haldex side on CAN A and the car side on CAN B.

Two handy details

• Different cars share different readings. Some manual cars do not send selected gear, so you may need another reading for a rule.
• A Gen 5 power feed can stay on after the ignition is off. Follow the official guide to enable Power Save after setup.
